Cycling UK Community Networking Event Velocity Cafe Inverness 6.00

19 September 2017

Starts: 18:00
Ends: 20:30

Shona Morris of Cycling UK  writes

"I thought you may be interested in attending one of the FREE Community Networking Events that Cycling UK are hosting in Aberdeen and Inverness as part of a series of events being held across Scotland for existing and potential community cycling projects.

"I thought it may be useful for you to know about as there are lots of opportunities for local organisations and individuals to get involved and experience the many benefits that cycling brings.  If you have capacity to circulate amongst any interested contacts, I would greatly appreciate it.

"Groups that are new to delivering cycling activities, organisations have that hosted cycling activities and events in the past and anyone that is interested in finding out more about local cycling projects are all welcome to attend. We hope it is an excellent opportunity to share best practice and learn from each other’s experiences.

"Attendees can expect;

  • A warm welcome and introduction from Cycling UK,
  • Presentations from local Big Bike Revival projects and other community cycling groups,
  • Introduction to national cycling programmes and activities from Sustrans and Cycling Scotland
  • As well as lots of opportunities to network and mingle over a free supper which we will provide.

"We would be delighted if you could join us from 6pm – 8.30pm on

19th September at Velocity Café and Bicycle Workshop, 1 Crown Avenue, Inverness, IV2 3NF.
